The building, in which 750 fund managers work, contains a modern computer centre which operates around the clock. The very highest security requirements had to be met by all of the furnishings – for one, to guarantee the full functional capability of all of the technical equipment at all times, and, for another, to prevent access by unauthorised persons under any and all circumstances.
HOCHTIEF Luxembourg used steel composite to build the shell, enabling office floors spanning large distances so that the tenant would have maximum flexibility in partitioning the space. Double floors and suspended ceilings conceal the masses of cables; high-quality furnishings and state-of-the-art technology create a pleasant working atmosphere, increase the effective usefulness of the premises and, a matter of no small concern, reduce operating costs to a minimum. Since many of the bank’s employees drive to work, the building has 375 underground car parking spaces.
The customer showed his satisfaction even before completion of the first construction phase. The collaborative partnership bore fruit, and HOCHTIEF Luxembourg was awarded the contract for the development and turnkey construction of the second construction phase.
