School Building Bascharage, Luxembourg
We realised a school complex comprising two buildings for the community Bascharage. Our part of the work included the building shell construction and the interior work. Building 1 has two storeys providing space for 18 modern classrooms; Building 2 has the same number of storeys for 12 brightly lit, welcoming rooms for instruction.
The buildings together present a modern and functional impression. The building exterior is structured by the use of a material mix of masonry, stucco and wood elements, in part mineral plaster applied to two-shell masonry, in part rear ventilated plywood. The windows are made of wood and aluminium. The roof is a wooden framework covered with tin standing seam metal.
