Résidence Artemis, Luxembourg
The Artemis throws a new light on urban living. The Résidence Artemis, a complex of 28 residential units including six studios and eight maisonettes, is being built on Rue Joseph Leydenbach. The property was awarded within the scope of an investor/architecture competition initiated by Fond d’Urbanisation et d’Aménagement du Kirchberg. Both the architecture and commercial criteria were evaluated for the tender. HOCHTIEF Luxembourg, in cooperation with the architecture firm Georges Reuter, prepared a concept which scored the highest number of points of all 16 submitted projects and secured first place on the land plot of Lot 16.
This is now the second residential property project in Grunewald district to be realised by HOCHTIEF Luxembourg, which has already finished the Résidence Park Avenue.
Besides pampering its residents, the building will mark a striking highlight on Luxembourg’s cityscape. This highly modern building, which makes generous use of glass surfaces, immediately catches the eye. Transparency and light are the major themes for the Artemis. This is also reflected in the structure of the body of the building. The architect has placed gaps in the façade and between the parts of the building in such a way that they function as gateways for daylight.
